R. R. Nabar & Co. was established in 1908 by Mr. R. R. Nabar, making it one of the oldest BSE broking firms. Over a century of operations has solidified our reputation as a pillar of reliability in the Indian stock markets.
Mr. V. P. Varde, who joined the firm in 1937, was a legendary figure in banking—the founder Director and Chairman of the Bank of Maharashtra, Chairman of Saraswat Co-operative Bank Ltd., a local director of the RBI, and a director on the board of IFCI. Having such a respected industry leader as promoter enabled our clients to grow and thrive, leaving us with unparalleled goodwill in the market.
In 1956, leadership transitioned to Mr. R. V. Varde, who spearheaded our operations as a full-time director until his passing in July 2023, keeping our traditions of trust and transparency alive.
